Which OID does Smarts IP Availability Manager poll for Card Status in a device running the Cisco stack MIB?

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Resolution

If a card is instrumented using the Cisco Stack MIB, Smarts AM polls the OID for Card Status as follows:

Card Status:  "1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.3.1.1.10",

 "This indicates the operational status of the module. " "Valid values are\n"
 "    other(1),       -- none of the following\n"
    "    ok(2),          -- status ok\n"
    "    minorFault(3),  -- minor problem\n"
    "    majorFault(4)   -- major problem";

For Major Fault and SNMP related errors, Smarts IP raises an alarm.
