Why is the IP class seen in the Smarts OI adapter but not in Smarts SAM?
The IP class is seen in Smarts SAM when using the OI adapter as the host's source, but not when using the IP domain manager as source
Environment
VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS
Resolution
You will not see the IP class in Smarts SAM when the IP domain manager is the host's source, but you will see it when OI is the source. This is because the dxa-oi.conf file passes the IP class through to SAM, whereas the dxa-conn-perf.conf between AM/PM and SAM does not. The IP class is derived from the ProtocolEndPoint and this is present in dxa-oi.conf but not in dxa-conn-perf.conf.
