Smarts IP discovers Flexible PIC Concentrator (FPC) and Flexible physical interface card (PIC) instead of DPC (Dense Port Concentrators) on Juniper MX960 (system OID:.1.3.6.1.4.1.2636.1.1.1.2.21)

Cause

The Juniper DPC is an integrated FPC+PIC designed to allow denser configurations of Ethernet interfaces. Therefore, DPC represents a combination of the two and discovery of FPC and PIC is expected.

Resolution

Smarts IP is functioning as designed.
