Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:




Receive the following error when trying to install Smarts SAM in a Windows environment:

The wizard can not continue because of the following error: could not find wizard home (101)

WARNING: could not delete temporary file cL\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\1\ismp001

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Cause

The Smarts SAM installation file is corrupted.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, download a new Smarts SAM 7.x installation package. Registered EMC customers can obtain this package on Powerlink at the following location:
