Login Failed when trying to connect to Smarts domain

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:




Error in the Smarts domain log file

On entering username password the following error is returned.

While attempting to locate the file with search path <DRIVE LETTTER>:\InChargev73\SET\IP\smarts\;|dev\null\local\;\dev\null\", path "conf\" and final component "imk.dat" <SYS>=ENOENT-No such file or directory

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Cause

New install, trying to log on with old RPS and conf files.

Resolution

To resolve copy "imk.dat" from the old IP install directory to the new one.
