Login Failed when trying to connect to domain

Issue/Introduction

Error in the Smarts domain log file

AUTH-E-EBADLOGINSYS-Unsuccessful <SYS> login to <Domain name>: From
   <Localsystem> INCHARGE-SA ASL (restartable) pid=3132
   IP=#.#.#.#:PID

On entering username password the following error is returned.

While attempting to locate the file with search path <BASEDRIVE>:\<Installation path>\;|dev\null\local\;\dev\null\", path "conf\" and final component "imk.dat" <SYS>=ENOENT-No such file or directory

Environment

All Supported Smarts versions

Cause

New install, trying to log on with old RPS and conf files.

Resolution

To resolve copy "imk.dat" from the old IP install directory to the new one.
