Remove session disconnect messages from Smarts SAM server

Issue/Introduction

Session disconnect messages never clear from the Smarts SAM notification log. How can you remove session disconnect messages from the Smarts SAM server?

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Resolution

Run the following command from the command line interface:
<basedir>/SAM/smarts/bin/dmctl -s <SAM> invoke ICS_NotificationFactory::ICS-NotificationFactory archiveNotification ICS_Notification::<NOTIFICATION Instance> <User> "<message>"

Example:
<basedir>/SAM/smarts/bin/
dmctl -s <SAM> invoke ICS_NotificationFactory::ICS-NotificationFactory
archiveNotification ICS_Notification::NOTIFICATION-Session_SESSION-APP-InChargeService__INCHARGE-SA->APP-InChargeService__London__GSS-OI_Disconnected js Confirmed connectivity. Manually Archived Notifications.
