SMARTS Interface admin/oper status is showing up as unknown

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - SMARTS

Resolution

Run the following commands from IP_BASEDIR/smarts/bin and send to Support for analysis:

  1. ./dmctl -s <DMname> getI Interface |grep  <Interface>
  2. ./dmctl -s <DMname> get Interface::<result from command 1 above>::InstrumentedBy
  3. ./dmctl -s <DMname> get <result from command 2 above>::ifAdminStatus
