Cause

Slow performance during or after the installation of VoyenceControl has been found to be caused by virus checking software operations.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, do the following:

1. During installation of VoyenceControl, disable virus checking software.
2. After installation has completed, add the following directories to the virus checking software's ignore list:
    

3. • VOYENCE_HOME\db\controldb\data

   • VOYENCE_HOME\db\controldb\logs

   • VOYENCE_HOME\data

   • VOYENCE_HOME\logs

   • JBOSS_HOME\server\vc-server\log

   • JBOSS_HOME\server\vc-server\tmp

   • JBOSS_HOME\server\vc-server\work
