ControlDaemon service is in a restart loop and will not start

Issue/Introduction

Smarts Network Configuration Manager (Smarts NCM) ControlDaemon service is in loop during restart of service hence it will not start.
daemon.log:

(main) Exception in Device Services Daemon
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid IP Address [null]

server.log:

class com.powerup.common.CMSystemException:Unable to communicate with DeviceManagementService (please check if ControlDaemon is running...)

Environment

NCM - 10.1.x

Cause

No IP address is found for the device server listed.

Resolution

• Check cflist.cgi and .rhttps files if IP is present.
• If not, modify infraDB and save the changes.
• Delete .rhttps and restart the service, file will restart upon successful restart of vcmaster.
