What server should I send SNMP Traps and Syslog Messages to for automatic device pulls?

Environment

VMware Smart Assurance - NCM

Resolution

SNMP Traps and Syslog Messages should be sent to the device server that manages those devices.  If you are using a trap or syslog server and are forwarding them to the device server, the traps/messages must be sent exactly as how they are received.
