Does the location of the Smarts Network Configuration Manager (Smarts NCM) Application Server and Database affect Smarts NCM performance?

Resolution

With a co-located Application Server and Database, performance will decrease depending on the dataset sizes maintained in the environment. It is therefore important to determine the size of dataset needed to retain/maintain the environment, and the location of the Smarts NCM database in relation to the Smarts NCM Application Server.
