VDR port teaming policy is broken if Host N-VDS uses LAG links

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• You use NSX-T 2.4.0, 2.4.1 or 2.4.2.
• LACP teaming policy of VDR port is incorrectly set.
• Ping connectivity between VM and SR across same LS can be broken in very rare situations.
• LACP can be down between N-VDS on Transport Nodes and Physical SW in very rare situations.

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center 2.x

Cause

NSX opsAgent applies Transport Node configuration for N-VDS. However, opsAgent cannot process LACP configuration properly and then applies the incorrect teaming policy for VDR port.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware NSX-T Data Center 2.5, available at VMware Downloads .
