NSX-T Cannot re-register compute manager after deletion

Issue/Introduction

  1. After deleting compute manager , we are unable to register it back.

  • Below error can be seen on NSX UI :




  • Checking the logs  /var/logs/proton/nsxapi.log  you will find the similar errors:

     ERROR ActivityWorkerPool-1-16 AbstractVMDeploymentUnitActivity - FABRIC [nsx@6876 comp="nsx-manager" errorCode="MP26050" level="ERROR" subcomp="manager"] Error occured while notifying ERROR to calling service. DUI id: DeploymentUnitInstance                       ComputeResource id Node/#-#-#-#
     com.vmware.nsx.management.common.exceptions.InternalServerException: com.vmware.nsx.management.common.exceptions.ObjectAlreadyExistsException: The object DeletedObject/#-#-#-#-# is already present in the system.

      (Where ## represent the UID of the Compute manager deleted)

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center

Cause

After delete Compute Manager, there are some entries on Corfu DB preventing to add Compute Manager back.

Impact/Risks:
Unable to install, upgrade or reinstall VIBs on host managed for compute manager unable to register back.
