NSX-T upgrade pane recommends restarting install-upgrade service on the orchestrator node, and then becomes blank

Issue/Introduction

• Error seen on node with install-upgrade service running: "This page is only available on the NSX Manager where Upgrade Coordinator is running. To configure the service, run the command "restart service install-upgrade" on the NSX Manager."
  
  
• After restarting service with command 'restart service install-upgrade' as suggested in UI, the upgrade window becomes blank:
  
  
  
  
• After rolling back the upgrade-coordinator, the UI is no longer blank, but the message "This page is only available on the NSX Manager where Upgrade Coordinator is running. To configure the service, run the command "restart service install-upgrade" on the NSX Manager." is displayed again.

• upgrade-coordinator.log shows:
  
  Error while converting JSON to UpgradePlan
com.fasterxml.jackson.databind.exc.UnrecognizedPropertyException: Unrecognized field "group_level_upgrade_units" (class com.vmware.nsx.management.upgrade.model.Group), not marked as ignorable (8 known properties: "progressCollector", "enabled", "upgrade_method", "id", "upgrade_units", "extended_configuration", "name", "component_type"])

Additional Information

The upgrade-coordinator can be rolled back with the following commands run from the admin shell:

1. set debug
2. rollback upgrade-coordinator

To clear debug mode run command 'clear debug'.
