  • Unable to use specific VLAN IDs when creating or changing portgroups.
  • Issue occurs only with the HTML5 client. Flash and Host Client are working as expected.

Cause

The issue is caused by similar, already existing vLAN id's with the same environment. For example, existing Portgroup with vLANIDs:1000 / 413 / 150

  • Creating a new Portgroup with VLAN ID 41 >> Summary will show VLAN ID value of 413

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware vCenter Server 6.7 U3b, available at VMware Downloads .

Workaround:
As a workaround, you can use the Flash or ESXi-Host client.
