The upgrade contains the following set of conflicting VIBs:

Remove the conflicting VIBs or use Image Builder to create a custom upgrade ISO image that contains the newer versions of the conflicting VIBs and try to upgrade again
The system encountered the following error(s)

This issue occurs due to the version numbering of the Broadcom NX2 and Nx2x drivers within the HP Custom Image for ESXi 5.5 Update 1, which prevents the upgrade installation of these drivers in ESXi 5.5 Update 1.
The HP Custom Image for ESXi 5.5 Update 1 June 2014 image contains the Broadcom NX2 and Nx2x driver.
