Issue/Introduction
DDUPDATE execution in Datacom version 14.0 with an input of the DDBTGLM cards generated in 15.x fails with
DDFGUPG0168 TRANS NOT DEFINED TO DICTIONARY
Environment
Datacom Datadictionary 14.0
Cause
DDBTGLM in release 15.0 and 15.1 generates a new 5005 KEY transaction that does not exist in version 14.0.
Resolution
Remove manually (or by other tools) the 5005 transactions from the input cards
or
create a user written exit program to DDBTGLM for stop writing the 5005 cards.
Additional Information
The new 5005 card exists to expand the use of the new 1000 ALTER transaction to the KEY entity-type.
DDBTGLM does not have a "previous release" function.
Refer to Preparing and Invoking a User-Written Exit if you want DDBTGM to stop generating 5005 cards.
If this error is returned in version 15.x then contact Broadcom support .
