This is a known issue affecting VMware vRealize Log insight 4.x
This issue will be resolved in an upcoming release of vRealize Log Insight.
A similar issue resulting in an empty exported file will be resolved in another upcoming release of vRealize Log Insight.
Workaround:
To work around this issue, try the export again, or on most browser versions:
- Log in to vRealize Log Insight.
- Click the Interactive Analytics tab.
- Open the developer console for your web browser.
Note: For more information on opening the developer console, see your web browser documentation.
- In the console window. enter the following:
javascript:fileRequestTime=new Date().getTime().toString();callback=null;
- Press the Enter key.
- Click Export Event Results.
