Issue/Introduction

The following are the instructions to "unconfigure" or reverse an existing config setup of Catalog, then re-configure to initial setup.

Environment

Release: CA Service Catalog on Windows platform. 12.9, 14.x 17.x.

Resolution

You can 'unconfigure' the 'component' part for the SC-Setup Utility, by using the below command:
1. open a command prompt
2. cd C:\Program Files\CA\Service Catalog\scripts
3. run configurator.bat -u component -p "%USM_HOME%\config.properties"
4. restart the catalog service

And then

5a. rerun the SC-Setup Utility (logon) and select the Components module (link)
5b. select (all) you need and click 'save'
6. when done, click 'finish'/'OK' to restart the service(s)
7. logout of the SC Setup Utility
8. check the SC-UI/catalog/forms/forms for it's content
