After upgrading to 6.6 we can see watermark saying "License is invalid"

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• When you search any object after upgrading to vRealize Operations Manager 6.6 or 6.6.1, you see this watermark in the background:
  
  license is invalid

• You see this error in licensing tab ( Administration > Management > Licensing):
  
  License is overused since it currently has xxxx members which exceeds capacity
  For example:
  
  

Environment

VMware vRealize Operations Manager 6.6.x

Resolution

To resolve this issue, reconfigure the license key to make sure the license is not overused.

 

1. Navigate to licensing tab ( Administration > Management > Licensing).
2. Click product licensing group.
3. Edit the product licensing group.
4. Ensure all the license which you have for the product has been assigned to this group.

 

Note: If not contact, the VMware licensing team to get new license keys for number of VMs which are unlicensed.
