Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
When changing the tenant used for authentication, you are unable to log in to the vRealize Orchestrator control center.

Environment

VMware vRealize Orchestrator 7.3.x

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware vRealize Automation 7.3.
 
Currently, there is no resolution.

To work around this issue, use one of the following options:
 
  • Repair configuration by logging into vRealize Orchestrator using the vsphere.local tenant:
  1. Clear browser cache.
  2. Log into: https://{host_name}:8283/vco-controlcenter/org/vsphere.local
  3. Reconfigure authentication to repair it.
  • Repair configuration by resetting vRealize Orchestrator authentication:
  1. SSH into the vRealize Orchestrator server.
  2. Run the command:

    /var/lib/vco/tools/configuration-cli/bin/vro-configure.sh reset-authentication
     
  3. Restart the control center by running the command:

    service vco-configurator restart
     
  4. Log in to vRealize Orchestrator control center using the root account.
  5. Reconfigure authentication to repair it.
