Issue/Introduction

With the release of cf CLI v6.50.0, logs (including staging logs when pushing an application) are now retrieved from Log Cache.

Note: This is a known issue that may result in a failure to retrieve logs from certain versions of Log Cache.

Failed to retrieve logs from Log Cache: unexpected status code 404

The following are steps that may reproduce this issue:

  • A non-admin user performs an operation that involves retrieving logs, such as pushing an application or running cf logs.
  • The same user then quickly (within 60 seconds) pushes a new application.
Note: Failure to retrieve logs does not affect the ability of the application to stage successfully. You can confirm the application has staged and started successfully by running `cf app <name>` and checking the status.
