Issue/Introduction

Seeing "No auth provider available for 'https://gitlab.xxx', see https://backstage.io/link?scm-auth" error message when generating the accelerator on Tanzu Developer Portal.


However, the accelerator can still be generated successfully by ignoring the above error.

Product Version: 1.6

Resolution

This is a known issue happening in current TAP versions and will be fixed in TAP 1.8.2.
There is no temporary workaround as this error is not blocking customers to generate the accelerator on Tanzu Developer Portal.
