PAS Autoscaler Manage button in Apps Manager shows 404 Not Found error

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
There is a Manage button still visible in the Apps Manager Autoscaler service instance. Due to the missing dashboard_url, clicking the Manage button will result in a 404 Not Found error.

 

Environment

Cause

The dashboard_url for the Autoscaler instance contains an invalid URL which Apps Manager consumes, causing it to display a Manage link. If you click on the link, it will return a 404 Not Found error. However, this behavior is okay and you can ignore the Manage link. Autoscaler management is now embedded within Apps Manager and is called Manage Autoscaling.

Resolution

The known workaround is to delete the Autoscaler service instance and then recreate it.
