What are the CA InterTest CICS Release 9.1 FMIDS?

Issue/Introduction

Starting in release 9.1 CA InterTest for CICS now has a reduced number of FMIDs, and distribution and target libraries for all CICS release dependent elements. Now one load library supports all CICS levels called HLQ. CABALOAD . In previous releases CA InterTest for CICS had a unique FMIDS, Target and distribution load libraries for each level of CICS.

 

 

With the new reduced FMID implementation, the product support team can provide support for a new CICS transaction server more easily, thus eliminating many of the tasks that were previously required to support and maintain a new or multiple CICS transaction server releases. This change reduces the number of CICS dependent FMIDs for previous releases of CA InterTest for CICS from 18 FMIDs to only four FMIDs.
