Issue/Introduction

Following an upgrade to Spring Cloud Services for VMware Tanzu version 3.1.30, you are no longer able to access the Management dashboard for your service instances and are presented with the following error:

No client with requested id: ${scs.dashboard.client-id}

Environment

Product Version: 3.1

Cause

Version 3.1.30 included an updated version of the Spring Boot library which introduced changes to underlying logic that introduced a bug which can result in the above error.

Resolution

Corrections for this bug were introduced in Spring Cloud Services for VMware Tanzu versions 3.1.32 and above. For this reason, it is recommended to upgrade to a correct version.
