Spring Cloud Dataflow dashboard tries to access the Internet even it's configured with internal Maven repository

Issue/Introduction

Even a Spring Cloud DataFlow instance is created and configured with an internal Maven repository, while open the dashboard, its menu bar keeps loading and never succeed.

With the browser dev tools, you can see that it tries to access https://repo.spring.io/libs-release which is not accessible from an air gapped environment.

Resolution

In order to prevent Spring Cloud Data Flow service instances from accessing the internet, please turn on the “Disable public Internet access” checkbox at Ops Manager > Spring Cloud DataFlow > Data Flow Server, as explained at this link.
