Issue/Introduction

When gpupgrade fails, you can revert the previous operation and then try gpupgrade again.

Environment

Product Version: 6.13

Resolution

To revert your previous operation and try gpupgrade again, follow the steps below:
Revert manually 
gpssh -f <hostfile> -e "pkill gpupgrade"
gpssh -f <hostfile> -e "rm -rf .gpupgrade"

Re-run gpupgrade initialize

If gpupgrade still fails, then collect the following logs for further investigation:
Tar “.gpupgrade” state directory from master
 
Tar “.gpupgrade” state directory from one of the failing segment
