Issue/Introduction

gpadmin=# CREATE EXTENSION pxf;
ERROR: could not load library “/usr/local/greenplum-db-5.28.5/lib/postgresql/pxf.so”: /usr/local/greenplum-db-5.28.5/lib/postgresql/pxf.so: undefined symbol: backoffTickCounter (dfmgr.c:244)

Environment

Greenplum Database.

Resolution

Ensure all intended dependencies are registered with PXF before continuing.
