Issue/Introduction

Queries are failing with error "could not fork new process for connection: Resource temporarily unavailable"

Environment

Product Version: 5.24

Resolution

If the OS is SUSE Linux, see SUSE KB https://www.suse.com/support/kb/doc/?id=000015901

If TasksMax is set too low, then the gpadmin user may not be able to fork enough processes.
It may be best to set this to "Infinity" or at least set it to 131072, the same value as "nproc" in /etc/security/limits.conf
