[DEMO] How to upgrade VMWare postgres / pg_auto_failover version from prior 13.4 to 13.4 afterward

Issue/Introduction

Starting from VMWare Postgres 13.4, the location of all binary files has moved from /usr to /opt/vmware/postgres/13

If we are trying to upgrade the VMware Postgres from a version prior to 13.4 to 13.4 afterward, then some extra steps need to be performed to make sure the new cluster is loading the correct binary.

Resolution

In this article, we will do a demo on how to upgrade the 13.3 clusters (pg_auto_failover) to 13.6.
