Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

Pivotal Greenplum reports the error "prepared statement ""xxxx"" does not exist" when loading data with Informatica.
 

The following information is seen in the Greenplum master log:

prepared statement ""xxx"" does not exist

The Informatica error is displayed below:

SQL Error [
FnName: Execute -- [Infa][ODBC Greenplum Wire Protocol driver][Greenplum]ERROR: prepared statement "ST2AAAAC001850" does not exist(File prepare.c;Line 460;Routine FetchPreparedStatement;)
FnName: Execute -- [DataDirect][ODBC lib] Function sequence error].

Environment

Cause

The default setting in pg_bouncer is not using session pooling.

Resolution

Set session pooling in pg_bouncer.
