How to delete a Pivotal PWS Account

Issue/Introduction

Note: Deleting your Pivotal PWS account will remove access to all other Pivotal services, such as Pivotal Network, Support, etc. This will, in turn, delete all of your apps and services.

Resolution

Follow the steps below to delete your PWS account:

1. Login to the PWS Apps Manager console.

2. Click on the 'Delete my Pivotal account' link at the bottom of the console.

3. Click on "Delete my Pivotal Account".



4. Confirm by filling in “Confirm Delete” and clicking on "Delete" twice.





5. You will receive an email from Pivotal Web Services <[email protected]>.



6. Click the appropriate Org's link and go to Settings (located on the panel on the left hand side) > REQUEST TO DELETE ORG (at the very bottom).



7. You will then see the confirmation screen.

8. Once you have deleted all of your Orgs, go back to the email and click “here” in step 2.

9. Confirm deletion was successful one more time.

Disclaimer: Please be aware that deleting your org and account is an unrecoverable process. Once done there is no way to go back, so make sure you have taken backups of all your apps and data before proceeding. There is no way for Pivotal to retrieve apps, services, data or information from an org or account that has been deleted.
