Issue/Introduction

CA APAS Insight V5.1 and V5.1.1 are not compatible with Adabas V8.3.

CA APAS Insight causes the Adabas V8.3 MPM to get hung in a CPU intensive loop when certain functions such as HIWATER or SNAPSHOT, are performed. Also starting an APAS request that includes any Adabas nucleus fields will result in the MPM looping.

CA APAS Insight must be uninstalled or replaced with another Adabas monitoring tool before upgrading to Adabas V8.3.
