How to use the JCE Unlimited Strength Policy with the Java Applications

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
Prior to the Java buildpack version 3.7.1, the Java Cryptography Extension(JCE) Unlimited Strength policy was not enabled and had to be enabled manually. Starting with the version 3.7.1, the JCE Unlimited Strength policy is enabled by default.

Environment

Resolution

Upgrade the version of the Java buildpack. All the modern and supported versions of the Java buildpack include the JCE Unlimited Strength policy.

Run cf buildpacks to confirm the version of the system buildpack that is installed. You can also run cf app <your-app> to see which buildpack it is currently using. Run cf push -b and specify a recent version of the Java buildpack.
