Issue/Introduction
To troubleshoot pulse view related issues.
Pulse is not showing the correct number of members of VMWare GemFire clusters.
Symptoms:
The following are symptoms associated with this issue:
- Only locators are viewable in the Pulse view. Cache servers are not available in the Pulse view.
- Not all the members are visible in the Pulse view.
Cause
Incompatible libraries of GemFire and other framework (like Spring) in the Classpath
Resolution
Correct Classpath.
Checklist:
- Check if all the servers are healthy using the gfsh > list members command.
- Check if the ClassPath has any other version of VMWare GemFire which conflicts with the version that is currently in use.
- Check if the ClassPath is using incompatible version of the spring jar libraries in the cache server.
- Check if all the libraries currently in use have compatible version of the framework being used.
