Issue/Introduction

This article provides a workaround to connect to PCC Pulse when you cannot connect to PCC Pulse through HTTPS using https://ip_address:8080/pulse.

Environment

Cause

In PCC 1.6.x and lower, all HTTPS traffic is redirected to HTTP.

Resolution

If you are running in PCC 1.6.x or lower, use HTTP instead of HTTPS, in order to access the Pulse. In other words, access Pulse using http://ip_address:8080/pulse.
