Resolution

In order to switch from external to internal authentication the steps are the following:
 

  • Put OpsMan in rescue mode
  • Sign in to OpsMan with the recovery passphrase, then change the OpsMan authentication to internal. (The customer may need to set a new password for that.)

  • Exit Rescue mode.
  • ssh to the Ops Manager VM and restart the tempest-web service using the following command:
service tempest-web restart
  • Change the authentication method to UAA on the TAS tile.
  • Apply Changes to the TAS tile.
