Issue/Introduction

While upgrading bosh director from 10.24 to 10.25, the process stuck on draining jobs. It's possible that there are locks present that are preventing the drain from completing. The common symptom is that Apply Changes stops near the end of the first step of Upgrading Bosh Director.


Environment

Product Version: 2.10

Resolution

1. 'monit stop all' on bosh director VM enabled Apply Changes to proceed.
2. If step 1 does not release the locks, reference the document Stark & Wayne blog post to find and delete the locks using bosh.
