Issue/Introduction
Symptoms: The following error is observed when clicking "APPLY CHANGES" in Operations Manager:
TypeError: t.filter is not a function
Environment
Cause
This is a known issue where an error thrown by the Operations Manager web server, such as an HTTP 500, and JavaScript is not able to handle that error properly.
Resolution
This issue is fixed in Operations Manager Versions 2.3.3, 2.2.8, and 2.1.18. In the latest version, the error received by the backend server will be displayed instead of this generic javascript error.
If you are experiencing this issue please upgrade to the latest Operations Manager at your convenience. In the interim. you can check the Operations Manager production logs under /tmp/logs or /var/log depending on the version of Operations Manager you are running. The production logs should have a meaning full error that can help you to resolve this issue.
