Issue/Introduction
On VMware Tanzu Application Service (TAS) for VMs 2.5, what is the migration path for using Metrics Registrar to monitor Scheduler for PCF jobs/tasks?
Resolution
Customers using Scheduler for PCF after upgrading to TAS 2.5 can no longer use Metrics Forwarder to monitor Scheduler jobs/calls since the Metrics Forwarder product has reached EOL and is not supported on TAS 2.5.
There is currently no migration path to Metrics Registrar to monitor Scheduler jobs/calls.
Pivotal recommends that customer periodically run the Scheduler for PCF smoke-test to insure that the tile is operating correctly
R&D will be adding custom metrics to the Scheduler for PCF tile in a future release.
