MySQL tile installation failed with "ServiceBackup.Error scheduling job"

Issue/Introduction

Customer installs the MySQL tile and the smoke test errand failed with service-backup job.

SSH to the issued MySQL instance, then check the output of /var/vcap/sys/log/service-backup/out.log. Received the error message below:


It indicates that the Cron Schedule configuration value is invalid.

Resolution

1. Navigate to the MySQL for VMware Tanzu Tile --> Backups --> Cron Schedule.

Verify if the Cron format of the input value is correct and ensure that each field is within the range limitation:


2. Run "Apply Change" for the MySQL tile again.
