Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

MySQL v2 SCP backups fail with an "unexpected filename" error similar to the following:

Environment


Cause

This error occurs when performing MySQL v2 SCP backups to a destination patched for CVE-2018-20685.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, you must upgrade to a MySQL version that includes Service Backups v18.2.0. Upgrade to one of the following versions of MySQL for PCF:
  • MySQL 2.4.5 or greater
  • MySQL 2.5.4 or greater
