"*ERROR**[0m Unable to install gems: exit status 7" error after RabbitMQ Smoke test fails

Issue/Introduction

RabbitMQ smoke tests fails with the error "*ERROR**[0m Unable to install gems: exit status 7" after upgrading Tanzu Application Service for VMs (TAS for VMs) containing ruby_buildpack v1.8.40+.

This issue can occur after upgrading TAS for VMs to.v10.14+ or v2.11.2+.

Product Version: 1.21

Resolution

To resolve this issue, upgrade to Tanzu RabbitMQ for VMs v1.21.6 or v2.0.4.
