Issue/Introduction

RabbitMQ publishers in Grafana show a negative number as shown in the picture below.

Resolution

When a RabbitMQ client terminates abruptly, the global counters for publishers do not handle this gracefully. This is a known issue. Please upgrade to the RabbitMQ version 3.11.3 or higher.
