Issue/Introduction

When do Agent Policy Installers regenerate (rebuild)?

Environment

• App Control Server: All Supported Versions
• App Control Agent: All Supported Versions

Resolution

The Agent Policy Installers automatically regenerate when:

• once every 24 hours
• a new Host Package Installer is uploaded
• the Server services are restarted
• a Policy is created or renamed (for only the relevant Policies)
• the Regenerate Install Files is manually executed

Additional Information

• The timer for Host Package Generation is set by the Shepherd Config: HostgroupPackageRegenerateIntvl
• Host Packages can be found at this path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Bit9\Parity Server\hostpkg
