CB Defense: Windows Sensors in Bypass upon installation

Issue/Introduction

Sensors listed with a status of 'Sensor Bypass (Admin Action)' directly after installation

Environment

• CB Defense Sensor: All Versions
• CB Defense Web Console: All Versions
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Cause

Sensors installed using the command line switch 'BYPASS=1'

Resolution

Request sensor bypass be disabled via the Console (See 'Related Content' links below for further details and alternative methods for Disabling Bypass)

1. Go to the Endpoints page
2. Select the Sensor(s) required
3. Click the orange 'Take Action' button
4. Select the 'Disable Bypass' option
