Can Linux agent run by non-root user?

Environment

  • Cb Protection Agent: All versions
  • Linux: All versions

Resolution

Yes. init.d by default is run by root. Customers should be able to run init.d using a non-root user.

Please noted that root privilege is required for Protection agent to function.
