Issue/Introduction

During Agent upgrades users are being prompted to close open programs.

Environment

App Control Agent: All Supported Versions

Cause

This happens because resources used by msiexec for the upgrade process are locked by open applications.

Resolution

Append the following to the upgrade script or command line string (without quotes):

• "/qb-"
